Education
October 1 to 31
A one-month educational incubator in a hybrid format. Workshops and mentoring sessions on Gemini, Google Cloud and Vertex AI for students, teachers and developers, plus free access to Google Skills for every team.

Build with AI
all of October, online
A month-long online hackathon where school and university teams grow their ideas into a working prototype around real challenges. Community mentors help along the way, and every team receives Google Cloud and Vertex AI credits.

Final
November 5, 2026
The big in-person festival at TU Sofia, Plovdiv Branch. The best projects are presented to an expert jury, and around the final there are talks, four tracks and a zone where everyone tries AI tools on the spot.

Registration and welcome coffee
We welcome the finalists, teachers, parents and guests with coffee from Kaffa Coffee.
- 09:00 to 09:30
Festival opening ceremony
The official start of the demo day, with a welcome from partners, institutions and experts.
- 09:30 to 11:00
Inspire: visionary panel
Short, dynamic talks about the meeting point between generative AI and the humanities, culture, history and the Bulgarian language.

Coffee break and networking
Time for conversations and new connections between sessions.
- 11:30 to 15:00
Parallel interactive tracks
Four parallel zones across the university building: Developers, Builders & Teachers, Legal & Leaders and Interactive Zone.

Lunch
Lunch for participants and the jury.
- 15:00 to 16:30
Create: the grand final
The best school teams, each with students over 13 and a teacher lead, and the university teams present their working AI prototypes live, built over October.

Jury evaluation
The jury reviews the presented projects and decides the winners.

Awards and prize draw
Official Google educational certificates are handed out, prizes in key categories with support from business and partners, and the visitor prize draw is held.

Open Sandbox zone
An open zone with laptops, available all day. You can test AI tools any time, without waiting for a set slot in the program.

Welcome and registration
Teams enter the hall, receive starter packs and branded stickers.

Official opening
A welcome from the organizers, from TU Sofia, Plovdiv Branch and from the Google for Education partners. A short intro to this year’s theme: „Code: Present. Digital visionaries in the age of AI“.

Lightning AI Show
25 minutes of live action: a demo of Gemini in Google Workspace and of how to get things done with AI without heavy coding.

EduHack rules and challenges
We explain the rules of the month-long Build with AI online hackathon, introduce the mentors and announce the official themes, among them the „Digital Conscience“ challenge.
- 12:10 to 12:30
Q&A and onboarding
We hand out free access to Google Skills and activate the Google Cloud and Vertex AI credits for every team. A group photo of the new digital visionaries.

From 11:30 to 15:00 on November 5 the building splits into four parallel zones. Pick your own or explore them all.

Developers
Innovation Lab
A technical track for developers with a hands-on workshop from GDG practitioners. We dive into advanced use of the Gemini API, Flutter and Firebase AI Logic.

Builders & Teachers
Visionaries in Action
A track for teachers and students with hands-on use of the Google Gemini Academy tools. Teachers share how they generate learning content quickly and safely in Google Workspace.

Legal & Leaders
Digital Conscience
A discussion panel on the legal framework of artificial intelligence in Bulgarian schools, data security and the ethics of using AI. It is followed by a Q&A session made especially for principals and parents.

Interactive Zone
Builder’s Space
A zone with open laptops where every guest tries AI tools on the spot. GDG experts help throughout the day with ideas and practical advice.
A prize draw for everyone registered 🎁
Every registered visitor enters a prize draw. One of you takes home a special gift.
The gift is handed out on November 5 on site. The winner is identified by the email used at registration.
